Algumas vezes nós temos o pensamento de que os reflexos/as ilusões são nossas gêmeas... até o momento em que o tato nos mostra a realidade. Esta é uma imagem extremamente poética. Eu apreciei infinitamente a nuance "faded" do horizonte.
I haven't looked through your gallery in a while, so it was a pleasure to visit again.
It looks like you've found your "style" -- eclectic, but focused on a certain sense of light in your color work. It's very distinctive, apart from your compositions.
This one I especially like because of the sense of motion in the curves (like the motion radical in the Chinese character for TAO) and the 6 posts (like lines of the I Ching). What's special about this composition is that two of the posts are only visible through their reflections -- or so it seems until you notice their tops are lost in shadow. That makes the straight center post the focus of my attention. It makes a perfect line with its reflection while all the others are bent. By coincidence, the posts create the two I Ching trigrams: water over earth. You might find this pictographic reading a pleasant surprise: [link]
thank you so much, my friend! It was a pleasant surprise to read your interesting and thoughtful comment. But i cannot agree that i have found my "style"... In fact i often think that i would love to find it some day. and be able to create more consistent, less diversified works... with a personal mark that would identify me. Anyway, this picture is special indeed. maybe the peaceful mood it reflects (it was real) and also the light, the lines... and other details that acquired a more special meaning with your interpretation I confess i hadn't noticed that the center post created a staight line together with its reflection - well observed! Thank you so much for the links. There's a lot to learn here!
i hate the strong contrasting and melting colors, these special colors. what i like here is that the sunset is only a background, (a subtle one) and not the main subject. this image is complex visually and i like that so we will pardon the sunset
